Skin Lesions

Description

Skin lesions encompass a multitude of bumps and pigmented lesions on the skin. Many of these are treatable with the laser including skin tags, red spots (haemangiomas), warts, sun spots and more.

WARTS

Warts can present themselves in many different ways and will eventually naturally disappear but this can take many years. We offer a quick solution to warts with laser treatments that treat and remove warts. Treatments for a wide range of warts  use precise ablation of warts followed by destruction of the blood vessels feeding the wart, causing the wart to ‘die’.

SKIN TAGS

A skin tag is a small, soft, flesh-colored benign skin growth, often on a stalk. Skin tags are probably the single most common bump on adult skin. Skin tags are harmless but can be an irritating skin problem, catching on clothes and jewellery. Skin tags tend to occur on the eyelids, neck, armpits, groin folds, and under breasts, essentially the areas the body has some friction.

Treatment is simple with the laser and are removed in one session.

BIRTHMARKS

Birthmarks come in many different forms. The ones more commonly presented are strawberry nevus and Port wine stains. Most people with these birth marks have been advised they are non treatable, this is not the case. After significant research and studies into treatment of these conditions  we  can treat these lesions safely and effectively.

HOW IT WORKS:

The laser will reduce the pigment in these areas by carefully breaking down the red blood cells therefore allowing the capillaries to collapse.

Expected Results

There is a gradual reduction in the pigmentation of the affected areas with significantly reduced or complete clearance as an outcome.
